Overview: Floating System Controls

The System Controls Bar floats at the bottom of your Trinity desktop workspace. It gives you instant visibility into your account usage meter, database health status, comprehensive settings, and one-click workspace locking.

1. Usage Meter & Account Balance

The circular progress ring on the left side of the System Controls bar monitors your account usage and monthly balance in real time.

Real-Time Visual Ring Indicator

The circular meter updates automatically after every AI prompt, code edit, or web search. The ring reflects your remaining monthly usage balance for paid accounts or free tier request caps.

Tooltip Status

Hover your mouse over the ring to view quick status indicators without opening any menus.

2. Database Health & One-Click Repair

Trinity stores your conversations, document vector indexes, and memories in a local high-performance database. The database icon displays real-time health:

Status Color Indicators

🟢 Green Icon: Database is connected and operating cleanly.
🟡 Yellow Pulsing Icon: Database is running diagnostic checks or automatic health repairs.
🔴 Red Icon: Local database disconnection or error detected.

One-Click Automated Database Repair

If the database icon turns red, simply click the database button. Trinity will automatically diagnose local index files, repair corrupted tables, and restore database connectivity cleanly.

3. Settings Menu Options

Clicking the Settings Gear icon opens the main Settings panel. Below is a complete guide to every option available in the menu:

AI Model Selection Submenu

Chat Models: Choose your primary conversational AI model for chat.
Photon Models: Select default models for image generation, editing, and inpainting.
Cypher Models: Configure default models for multi-file coding, architectural planning, and senior auditor code reviews.

Chat History & Storage Cleanup

Clear All History: Permanently delete all chat history across all modes.
Delete Old History: Automatically prune conversations older than 6 months.
Delete Web Search History: Clear past web search transcripts and video summaries.
Delete All Attachments: Remove cached PDFs, images, and upload files to free up local disk space.

Memora Memory Settings

Configure long-term session memory retention, manage concept relationship maps, and adjust attachment indexing settings.

Account & Registered Devices

Subscription & Quota Status: Check your active plan, renewal date, and remaining request quota.
Device Management: View all registered Windows PCs authorized on your account and revoke inactive device sessions.
Delete Account & Data Wipe: Permanently delete your cloud profile and wipe all local desktop data with confirmation safeguards.

Location Preference Settings

Set your default city and geographic preferences so Websearch provides accurate local recommendations, nearby operating hours, and local deals.

Payment & Pro Options

Upgrade your workspace account to Pro, top up your balance, or view billing details.

4. Frameless Window Controls

Trinity operates in a clean, borderless desktop window mode without standard bulky operating system window frames. The autohiding window control panel sits discreetly at the center-top of your screen:

Top-Center Hover Trigger

Move your mouse cursor to the small dark tab at the top-center edge of the Trinity application window. Hovering over this tab smoothly reveals the floating window control buttons.

Minimize, Maximize & Close

Minimize (−): Minimizes Trinity to your Windows taskbar.
Maximize / Restore (□): Toggles between full-screen and restored window layout.
Close (✕): Safely closes the desktop application window.

Automatic 3-Second Fade-Out

To keep your workspace 100% distraction-free, the window controls automatically fade out and hide after 3 seconds of mouse inactivity.

5. Logout & 3-Minute Inactivity Auto-Lock

Trinity includes automatic and manual desktop security features to prevent unauthorized access when you walk away from your desk:

Manual Logout Button

Click the Power Icon button on the right side of the System Controls bar to lock your app workspace instantly.

Automatic 3-Minute Inactivity Auto-Lock

If Trinity detects zero mouse or keyboard activity for 3 minutes, the desktop application automatically logs out and locks your workspace. Simply enter your 4–8 digit Security PIN to resume right where you left off!

Desktop Security Tip: Auto-lock ensures your local files, code snippets, and memories remain 100% private even on shared office or family computers.
